Designed to handle extreme bends while allowing full-fl ow, kinkfree performance, E-Z Form hoseeff ectively replaces pre-formed hoses in many applications–eliminating special design, tooling and fabrication costs and associated long lead times. It also eliminates the need for ordering excessive minimum production quantities. E-Z Form hose is available in a general service construction for coolant and water applications and in a multipurpose oil-resistant construction for drain, fuel fill and oil suction/return lines. Both constructions incorporate a helical wire for full suction/vacuum service.

A Systems Approach

Coolant and oil suction/return hose assemblies are critical to the performance of mobile and industrial equipment, and E-Z Form hose assemblies provide a systems-oriented approach to these applications. Other manufacturers may view a hose assembly as a combination of random components that may or may not happen to “fit” together, whereas Parker views a hose assembly as a highly engineered and tested sub-system.Parker has qualifi ed E-Z Form hose with Parker permanent crimp fi ttings that are attached according to Parker specifi cations using Parker fi xed die or adjustable crimping equipment. Consequently, hose assembly components have been validated as a system by Parker to ensure optimal performance and service life.

Multiple Options,Rapid Response

Parker’s disciplined approach has qualifi ed E-Z Form hose with multiple styles of crimp fi ttings in popular sizes and terminations.Parker full-line distributors should have no trouble quickly fabricating hose assemblies from stock for new opportunities, scheduled maintenance or downtime replacements.Parker has developed Parkrimp dies for popular sizes of E-Z Form hose, as shown below, to supplement existing specifi cations for Parker adjustable crimpers. For permanent crimp specifi cations,

To request development of additional crimp dies/specifi cations for E-Z Form hoses, please use the form available at the bottom of the CrimpSource home page. For non-critical applications or for large hose sizes where crimp couplings are not readily available, E-Z Form hose is supple enough to easily accept beaded ends secured by constant tension clamps.

E-Z FORM™ GS General Service Hose SAE J20R2-D1 Performance Series 7395

Series 7395 is an extremely fl exible, lightweight low pressure hose designed to handle air, coolant, mild chemicals and water. Th e hose construction incorporates a tube that is resistant to commonly used coolant mixtures, a wire helix that provides full suction/vacuum capability and a path to conduct a static electrical charge to ground, and a cover that is resistant to abrasion, mild chemicals, heat and ozone. Th e unique Greek cover corrugations are tightly pitched and precision-engineered, providing minimal force-to-bend, superior kink resistance, and maximum fl exibility for ease of handling. Series 7395 is capable of being routed through confi ned spaces where formed hose might normally be required. NOTES: Do not drag across sharp edges or highly abrasive surfaces. For E-Z FORM™ oil resistant multipurpose hose, refer to Series 7219.

E-Z FORM™ MP Multipurpose Oil Resistant Hose Series 7219

Series 7219 is an extremely fl exible, lightweight, low pressure oil suction/return hose and vehicle fuel fi ll connector line—as well as a suction and discharge hose for refi ned fuels such as biodiesel (to B20 in dedicated and non-dedicated service), diesel, ethanol and gasoline. Th e lightweight Greek corrugated hose construction incorporates a wire helix that provides full suction capability, superior kink resistance, minimal force-to-bend and a path to conduct a static electrical charge to ground. Th e unique Greek corrugations are tightly pitched and precision-engineered, providing extreme fl exibility and kink resistance compared to the traditional rounded corrugation profi le. Th e cover is resistant to oil and weathering. Series 7219 is capable of being routed through confi ned spaces where formed hose might normally be required. NOTES: Do not use in fuel dispensing or service applications requiring API, NFPA, UL, ULC or any other agency approval or listing. Do not drag across sharp edges or highly abrasive surfaces.
