Product Notes:
• Recommended for standard-duty conveyor applications. For tougher belt applications see the MMP Medium-Duty Precleaner
(page 39). For extreme, abusive applications see the MHP Heavy-Duty Precleaner (page 47) or the MHCP Heavy-Duty
Cartridge Precleaner (page 54).
• Material Path Option: Fit the blade width to the belt’s material path. The material path is typically the center 2/3 of the belt width. In
most cases a blade size of belt width minus 8" (200mm) may be the best solution.
• Each cleaner pole is retrofittable for three blade sizes (belt width minus 2" (50mm), minus 8" (200mm) or minus 14" (350mm)).
• Pole Length: Belt width plus 54" (1350mm). For conveyors requiring longer pole lengths, go to the minus 8" (200mm) chart and select
the cleaner one belt width size larger. This will provide a pole 6" (150mm) longer and a blade size of belt width minus 2" (50mm).

• Visual Tension Check: No guesswork on blade tensioning. Measure the spring and adjust to specified length per blade width to
restore optimal tensioning.
