HFX - Type HFX Extruded Rubber Hose Construction: Nitrile Rubber Cover & Liner, Polyester/Nylon Reinforcement Performance Features: Temperature Range: Snap-tite HFX is a nitrile thru-the-weave, rubber covered fire hose -5 to 200F (-20 to 95C) that utilizes both polyester and nylon yarn in the reinforcing jacket. Coupling: Under pressure, the polyester keeps the hose from "snaking" Aluminum or Brass NH/NST where the nylon allows for controlled dilation, reducing friction loss or IPT Threaded & Aluminum LISTED and generating higher flow rates. Our special rubber compound Storz options provides a tough cover that resists heat and abrasion while Approvals: Most sizes UL and Polyester/Nylon Fabric Reinforcement resisting many chemicals and most petroleum products. Extruded ULC (UL Canada) listed. thru-the-weave also means that no adhesives are used, therefore (See chart below for sizes) Nitrile Rubber no delamination. The 3-ply design allows Aluminum NH/NST or us to weave the reinforcement tighter than a typical extruded rubber IPT Threaded & Aluminum hose which increases tensile strength and puncture resistance. ATX Storz options. has a stronger jacket which increases the operating pressure to Hose Colors: 275 psi (1895 kPa) as compared to TPX.
