Continue to tighten nut for one and three-quarter additional turns (one and one-half turns for 1/2" size tube fittings) for a positive, leak proof seal. During tightening a slight "give" will be felt.This "give" indicates the sleeve has been sheared from the nut. It is not necessary to tighten the nut all the way down. To Reconnect: 1.
