Cement Transfer

Once the cement is prepared, the well is

ready to be cased. Casing, also known

as cementing, isolates all water and

hydrocarbon-producing horizons from each

other, which helps prevent the well walls

from collapsing.

On average, it takes 55,000 gallons of

cement to transfer the mixture and complete

the process. That is why only the toughest

hose should be used for this intense process.
