WIRE INSERTED TETRAGLAS-T® LUTING & GROOVE PACKING
Darco Southern, Inc. manufactures luting and groove packing from the same
high quality TETRAGLAS-T® cloth that is used in the manufacture of its other
folded products.
Plain Tetraglas® cloth is frictioned with a blend of natural or SBR rubber com-
pound from which the packing sizes are carefully formed in solid construc-
tion and squared to accurate dimensional size.
Finished packing has a light talc dusting and is supplied in standard 25 ft.
lengths, coil form. For use as an alternative to asbestos luting and groove
packing for door gasketing at temperatures to 550°F.

WIRE INSERTED TETRAGLAS-T® FOLDED TAPE
A general utility tape used for steam, air, water and ammonia. Particularly
useful on rough or uneven flanges.
Manufactured from texturized fiberglass yarns into Tetraglas ® cloth, fric-
tioned with natural or SBR rubber or a blend of the two.
For service temperatures to 550°F constant.
• Available thicknesses: 1/16”, 1/8”, 3/16”, 1/4”, & 3/8”
• Available widths: 1/2”, 3/4”, 1”, 1-1/4”, 1-1/2”, 2”, 3”, 4”, & 5”
• Standard roll: 25’ or 50’ lengths
