styles are available by special order. Style 3320 has an actual rubber durometer of 60. Shore A durometers are as
follows for various thicknesses: 1/16 = 74; 3/32 = 66; 1/8 = 65. Style 3320 was developed to meet AMS 3320.
Consequently, it has lubricating oil resistance and excellent compression set resistance. Dielectric strength: 500
volts/mil (appr.). Elongation at break < 10%.

Sponge Rubber
Styles R10460, R10470, and R10480 are stocked
by American Packing in the medium versions.
Other styles are available by special order. These
products are flexible, compressible COHRlastic
silicone closed cell sponge designed for high
performance gasketing, thermal shielding,
vibration mounts and press pads. (See Style 500,
600, and 700 for a general description of silicone.)
Style R10470 is a general purpose sponge and
can be used in most applications. R10480 has
extremely low compression set and maintains its
resiliency even under extended compression.
R10460 is flame retardant and also has extremely
low compression set. It meets UL94 Flammability Classification 94HBR. All Styles have a dielectric strength of 145
volts/mil (appr.) and a temperature range of -100°F to +500°F. Outgassing (NASA testing) less than 1% weight loss.
