1/4" diameter. Packaged on 25 lb. spools which can be broken for smaller

orders.

Twisted Fiberglass Rope

Highly flexible fiberglass fabric tightly twisted and formed into a rope of various

diameters. Non-flammable, will not burn or smolder. Excellent electrical

properties. Recommended for furnace doors, ovens, manhole covers, etc. For

air, dry steam, hot gases. Temperatures to 1000°F/538°C. Packaged on 25 lb.

spools which must be sold as unbroken spools.

Stuffing Box Sealants

(S.B.S.)

S.B.S. is a flexible compound

containing fluorocarbon which is

produced in bulk form (putty type). It

can be molded into virtually any shape

. . . braids, tresses or seals are no

longer required. It is anti-corrosive

and anti-foulant, and will not dry up or

shrink. Because of low friction, energy

consumption is substantially reduced.

It eliminates torque problems: S.B.S.

is leakproof and requires no seal water. It never needs to be removed once applied . . . small additions from time to time

may be required. S.B.S. cannot be destroyed by scored shafts and works well on them without further damage.

Recommended for stuffing boxes of pumps, autoclaves, agitators and any equipment involving the use of rotating or

reciprocating shafts. For acids and bases, both organic and inorganic aliphatic and aromatic solvents. Also for steam,

water, salts, esters, fats, waxes, oils and corrosive liquid gases.
