Dry Disconnects
Application: Dry disconnects help prevent spillage from normal or accidental disconnection of the connection. A spring loaded
sealing device is designed to snap closed should the valve become disconnected with the poppet open, significantly
limiting liquid loss.
Standards: Manufactured to interchange with other cam and groove type dry disconnect couplings.
Canadian registration number CRN #OH14044 all provinces, 3" size rated to 80 Psi for CRN required applications.
Materials: Zinc, aluminum or stainless steel bodies with buna *, Viton®*, Viton® B *, PTFE encapsulated silicone*, EPT (EPDM)*,
Kalrez®, PTFE encapsulated Viton® and PTFE seals, see part number chart for full seal selection. Contact Dixon at
800-355-1991 for working pressures at temperatures other than 21°C (70°F) and for chemical compatibility, size and
material selection.

DBAAdapters
• Two-piece adapter design for easy rebuilding of adapters
• Aluminum fittings have aluminum nose piece and brass piston, stainless steel parts have a stainless steel piston.
• Adapters below are used with the DBC or D2C couplers shown on pages 36 and 37.
• Use standard cam and groove dust caps sized one size larger than the dry disconnect size, see chart below for dust
cap size selection.
DBC Couplers
• DBC series have automatic closing poppet assembly.
• Heavy duty stainless steel crank and link provide long service life.
• Stainless steel handle assembly allows exposure to corrosive chemicals or wash down service.
• Strong handle attachment prevents bending of crank assembly.
• Aluminum couplers have stainless steel internal parts.
• EZ Boss-lock automatic locking cam arms, provide added security from accidental opening due to cam arms getting
snagged or vibration. Very easy to use, just close the arms and they lock, to open simply lift the lever (possible even
with gloves on).
