These valves can be used as a hydrant booster and also for inline pumping. Initially the valve
is connected to the hydrant and water can be pumped directly from the hydrant to the fire. If
pressure is low, the valve can have a second pumper connected to it without interrupting flow.
There is also a third position, allowing emergency shut-down.
