NOVEXBELTS
Novex belts are specially designed to run over small
sheave diameters at high speed ratios. Novex belts allow
use of narrow sheaves, small sheave diameters and short
centers for compact drives. The special ribbed top on
Novex belts provides traverse rigidity without increasing
bending stresses. This keeps Novex belts running cool
which means added life. Novex belt compounds have a
high degree of friction which allows the use of 60° belt
angle. This provides for better support of the tension
member.
NOTE All Novex belt size listings are in millimeters; ie, 5m = 5mm top
width; 280m = 280mm belt length. Top width and effective length (E.L.) are
listed in inches for size cross reference only.
