INSPECT
FITTINGS
Inspectnipple fora through-hole,
threads, hexanddamage. Ensure
swivel nut is properly crimped,
has threads and turns freely.

Inspect sleeve for scratches and
damage.
NOTE
When installing sockets on hose,
checkhoseendstodetermineifwire
braid“necksdown” (bends inward).
Ifoneend“necksdown”usethisend
to slide sockets onto hose.

Visually inspectfitting(s)asfollows:
Inspect socket for a through-hole,
threads in shell and damage.

Slide two sockets over end of
hosewith bottomof sockets back
to back.
ASSEMBLE

Position sockets at each end of
hose.
ASSEMBLE
HOSE 11
Mount nipple hex in vise. Ensure
nipple end extends beyond vise
jaws sufficiently to allow instal-
lation of hose.
ASSEMBLE

Pushhoseboreontonippletosize
tubeandtoaid inseparatingbraid
before fitting sleeve.

Remove hose from nipple.
