Woven fiberglass tacky cloth wire brass wire inserted
in both directions surrounding a lead core. Rated to
400°C.

Plant Fibre Sheet
Excellent grade of vegetable fibre sheet packing, efficiently saturated with a
glue-glycerine impregnant rendered insoluble by means of a tanning agent
(formaldehyde) to give a strong, flexible, all-proof packing with properties
retained during proper storage and in use. Compressibility 25% to 40%. Tensile
strength 2000 PSI. Flexibility: capable of withstanding bending around a rod
with a diameter of twice the thickness of the material under test, without cracking,
breaking or excessive marring of the surfaces. Temperature limit 250°F.

Fibrecork Sheet
Composition cork and fibre glue-glycerine impregnant gasket material. Special
base fibre containing 40% granulated cork particles by volume. Saturated with a
glue-glycerine-formaldehyde impregnant which makes the sheet impervious to
oil, water and gasoline. The incorporation of the cork with the fibre makes a soft compressible material adaptable for
gasket application with low internal pressures. Compressibility 40% to 55%. Tensile strength 1000 PSI. Flexibility:
capable of withstanding bending around a rod with a diameter of twice the thickness of the material under test, without
cracking, breaking or excessive marring of the surfaces. Temperature limit 250°F.

Red Vulcanized Fibre
Chemically pure, cellulose material that contains no resins or bonding agents.
Extremely high internal bond strength. Will not delaminate or separate, even in
water. Resistant to oils, gasolines, and most solvents. Red color. Tensile
strength: MD-18,000 PSI, CD-9000 PSI. Compressive strength 35,000 PSI.
Hardness, Rockwell, R Scale 80. Dielectric strength, short time, volts/mil: 1/64" - 230, 1/16" - 200, 1/8" - 195. Heat
resistance, continuous (UL File #E48013) 110°C. Mechanical, 115°C. Electrical. Water absorption, 24 hours - 66%.

boxes, oil seals, valve covers, etc. Density 17 lbs/cubic foot. Tensile strength
