PTFE gasket material with nearly universal application. Excellent chemical
resistance to acidic and alkaline attack. Excellent mechanical properties at high
temperatures and surface loads. Only PTFE gasket material with a Fire Test
Certificate (criteria of API 6FA to ANSI Class 300 pressure rating). Components
fully compatible with FDA requirements. Broad application in the chemical
and petrochemical industries and in chemical tank transportation. Can be specified
in steam services and wherever emission containment is required.
Compressibility 2% (ASTF36J). Recovery 55% (ASTM F36A).
