HOWTO SELECT THE PROPER HOOK SIZE
1. Measure the belt thickness and pulley diameter.
2. Determine the possible options that could be used, based on the chart on page 6.
3. Select the proper hook from the specification chart.
4. If hook specifications overlap into more than one size, select the fastener which best meets your
needs. NOTE: If maximum strength is of primary importance, choose the hook with the largest
diameter wire. If low profile is needed select the hook with the smallest diameter wire.
5. Select the type of metal which best fits your application requirements.
